Will Snap is back and bigger than ever

It's back again but this year, members of the Will Snap Band are promising an even bigger, more rocking and more outrageous performance than ever as the group comes together for the 2007 annual gig.

Held at The Stables and sponsored by HBS, this year's extravaganza will take place on Thursday 18th October 2007 to raise money for, and awareness of, MK SNAP (Special Needs Advancement Project) and Willen Hospice.

The Will Snap Band 2007

Previous years have seen the audience literally dancing in the aisles as some of Milton Keynes' most prominent business leaders show a different and 'wild' side to their normally more subdued personae. This collection of great city minds and musical talents comes together to produce an infectious explosion of musical excellence that is guaranteed to appeal to the young, the old, family and friends - literally everyone with a love for live music.

So who makes up the Will Snap Band? Chief Executive at Milton Keynes Council, John Best assumes his bass-playing duties; Horizon FM's Trevor Marshall on vocals; Stewart Bailey of Virtual Viewing on keyboard; from CLM Management, Tony Hulatt on guitar; Jeremy Allen of C&I UK on the keys; Abbey National's Danni Cadby - singer; Rich Maloney from Wavelength guitar/singer; Milton Keynes Hospital's Leah Richardson on vocals; professional musician Pete Langford of the Barron Knights, drummer and singer Paul Bell, guitarist Dave Wakely, and featured guest singer for this year, Nicci Griffiths.

For the 2007 gig the Will Snap Band is also looking for four local musicians to join them on the stage, and will be holding auditions at the end of August - more to be announced soon.

Together, The Will Snap Band promise an entertaining line up of familiar tracks from all eras - and a few surprises that will be announced nearer the time, says spokesperson, Stewart Bailey. He said: "Each year our annual event gets bigger and better. We are now at a stage where we know each other and understand each other's individual style so well that it comes together naturally to create a rocking sound. October 18th will be a fantastic night of fun and entertainment - and ultimately a great help two very importance charities."

The evening's entertainment will be held at The Stables in the Jim Marshall Auditorium. Tickets cost £19.50 and can be booked by calling The Stables box office on 01908 280800 or visit the Stables website.

More information about guest appearances to be revealed nearer the event date.
